Rather Unsettled and Cool

Tuesday
Into Tuesday and overnight wet and windy conditions across E England may well still be present but will clear through the morning leaving behind some drier and brighter conditions for much of the British Isles despite some passing showers. Through the afternoon and evening and wet and windy weather will then arrive across W Scotland and Ireland. Cool, Highs 6C to 12C.

Tuesday Night
Wet and windy weather across more northern and western areas of the British Isles will move eastwards overnight with many areas experiencing a spell of wet weather but this not reaching more southern and eastern areas of England until later in the night. Milder night than recent nights, especially in the north, lows 3C to 8C.

Wednesday
Into Wednesday and overnight wet and windy weather across more southern and eastern areas will be present first thing but this clearing away through the morning. Following will be drier and brighter weather, with some sunny spells, but scattered showers are likely in the north and west, locally heavy at times too. Highs 7C to 13C at best.

Thursday
Into Thursday and a temporary ridge of high pressure may well build across England and Wales through the day to bring about a more settled, drier and perhaps sunnier day than compared with previous few days a feeling a little warmer here too. Further north and west and a more unsettled W or SW'ly air mass is predicted with some rain or showers across Scotland and Ireland. Highs, 9C to 15C, so nearer to average than previous days.
